Nursery School Offerings

Twos
Our Twos program is your child's introduction to school. For Twos, we focus on learning how to separate confidently from families, figure out how to function as part of a group, and begin working on regulating their emotions and using language to express their needs and wants. The Twos program is your child's introduction to all of the activities they will use throughout preschool including blocks and manipulatives, painting and drawing, music and movement, imaginary play, stories and sensory experiences.
Twos may attend three, four or five mornings a week from 9:00am - 11:30am. Children must turn two by October 31st to join our Twos program.
Threes
Our Threes continue to focus on a wide variety of purposeful hands-on experiences while introducing more structured activities as the year progresses. Foundational pre-reading, pre-writing and pre-mathematic activities are offered in an engaging manner throughout the year.
Threes may attend four or five mornings a week from 9:00am - 12:00pm, an extended morning from 9:00am - 1:00pm that includes lunch or a full day from 9:00am - 2:30pm that includes lunch and rest. Children must turn three by October 31st and be toilet trained to join our Threes program.
Fours
Our Fours balance their day between child-selected activities and teacher-directed activities. All areas of development including foundational academic skills are supported through a variety of hands-on activities.
Fours may attend for an extended morning from 8:45 - 12:45pm or a full day from 8:45am - 2:15pm. Children must turn four by October 31st to join our fours program.
Rising Fives
This specialty class offers children who miss the October cut-off for kindergarten or who would benefit from an enriching final year of preschool before kindergarten. Although children who turn five by December 31st are eligible for this class. priority is given to children who have previously attended a Fours class.
This full day class (8:45am - 2:15pm) continues to emphasize intentional hands-on experiences with the goal of supporting and challenging the children throughout the year. Children leave this class fully prepared for kindergarten.
